Documentation
Everything polyglots does, one page per task. The same pages are in the repository's docs/ folder.
- Getting startedpolyglots reviews and translates WordPress .po files.
- The interactive appRun polyglots with nothing after it and it opens a full-screen app in your terminal window.
- Reviewing submissionspolyglots review reads a .po export of the strings waiting for approval, checks every one, repairs what it can, and writes out only the entries that still matter.
- Reply templatesThe message for the requester is one sentence about what a review fixed.
- Translatingpolyglots translate fills in the entries of a .po file that have no translation, or only a fuzzy one, and writes them back into the same file.
- ConfigurationSettings live in ~/.config/polyglots/config.json and API keys in ~/.config/polyglots/.env, kept apart so the settings file can be shared or read without exposing a key.
- Locale rulesThe checks polyglots runs are not the same for every language.
- Reviewing with antigravitypolyglots can use either Claude Code (claude) or the Antigravity CLI (agy) as the agent that judges translations. Claude is the default and needs no setup.
- Local modelspolyglots can draft translations with a model running on your own machine, and, experimentally, review with one. Nothing is metered.
- Usage statisticspolyglots can share a few anonymous totals, so the website can say how much it has been used. It is off unless you turn it on.
- Command referenceEvery command and option, as
polyglots --helpprints them. - For AI agentsThe runbook an agent should follow, also as plain text.
